- Legal representative: Esteban Guerra Molina
- Domicile: Santiago, Chile (remote studio)

In this policy, TevDev Studio SpA is referred to as “TevDev”.
2. Legal framework
Processing is governed by Chilean law and, where applicable, by international standards:
- Law No. 19,628 on the Protection of Private Life, currently in force.
- Law No. 21,719, which reforms Law No. 19,628, creates the Personal Data Protection Agency and enters into force on December 1, 2026. From that date, TevDev adapts its practices to its requirements.
- Law No. 19,496 on the Protection of Consumer Rights, in consumer relationships.
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as applicable, for visitors from the European Economic Area (EEA).
TevDev is established in Chile and directs its services mainly to Chile and Latin America. It has no representative in the European Union; the privacy channel for all data subjects is contacto@tevdev.cl.
3. Data processed
Quote requests. The site's form collects identification and contact details (first name, last name, email, optional phone number and country; for business requests, also the company, job title and legal name) and project information, such as the type of project and service, current website, scope, languages, integrations, reference links, description, attached files, estimated budget, timelines, urgency, preferred contact channel and hours, and how the person learned about TevDev. If the statistics and metrics cookies were accepted, the request also includes the origin of the visit (campaign and landing page).
Communications. The messages, emails and calls exchanged with TevDev.
Clients. Contracting, billing and payment data (legal name, tax ID, billing address and contact persons) and the information needed to carry out each project.
Newsletter. The email address, language and confirmation date of each subscriber.
Browsing. The technical data of each visit (IP address, browser and pages requested), used to deliver and protect the site, and the language and theme preferences. Only with consent are usage statistics and campaign measurement data also collected, as described in the Cookie Policy.
The site does not request sensitive data, which should not be included in the project description or in attached files.
Site assistant. If the data subject uses the automated assistant in the contact panel, TevDev processes the messages they write and the answers, together with an identifier derived from their IP address that does not reveal it. Users are asked not to enter personal data in it.
4. Purposes
TevDev processes data to:
- Respond to requests and prepare quotes.
- Perform the contracted services and communicate with clients during each project.
- Invoice, collect payments and meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Send the newsletter to subscribers.
- Protect the site and its forms against abuse, fraud and unauthorized access.
- With consent, measure the use of the site and the results of TevDev's campaigns for statistical and metrics purposes.
- Answer questions asked to the automated assistant, review the quality of its answers and prevent its misuse.
5. Legal bases
- Requests and services: the data subject's request and the performance of the contract or of the steps prior to it.
- Billing and tax record keeping: compliance with a legal obligation.
- Newsletter, and statistics and metrics: the data subject's consent, which can be withdrawn at any time without retroactive effect.
- Site security and necessary cookies: providing the service the data subject requests by using the site and the legal authorization for the operation of the system.
For EEA visitors only, the legitimate interest provided for in the GDPR may also be relied on for network security and fraud prevention. Under current Chilean law, TevDev does not use legitimate interest as a stand-alone basis.
6. Statistics and metrics
Statistics and metrics tools are enabled only if the visitor accepts them in the cookie notice; without that acceptance, they are not loaded and leave no cookies in the browser. The provider that delivers and protects the site also counts the visits to each page without cookies, local storage or any identification of the visitor. The data they collect is shared with their providers solely for statistical and metrics purposes, to count visits, understand which content is read and measure the results of TevDev's campaigns. It is never used to make a profit from it. TevDev does not sell it, does not transfer it for money and does not show third-party advertising on the site.
Google Analytics is configured without Google signals or ad personalization, and Google Ads is used only to measure conversions. The choice can be changed at any time from “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of every page.
7. Cookies
The site uses necessary and preference cookies, which are always active, and statistics and metrics cookies, which require consent. The Cookie Policy details each cookie, its purpose and its duration.
8. Recipients
TevDev shares data only with those who need it to provide the service:
- Infrastructure providers, to host, deliver and protect the site and its systems.
- Email provider, for transactional messages, such as quotes and invoices, and for the newsletter.
- Blog platform, which provides the articles and, with consent, receives the read count.
- Google LLC, with consent, for statistics (Google Analytics) and campaign measurement (Google Ads).
- Transbank S.A. (WebPay) and Global66, when the client pays through those methods.
- WhatsApp, when the data subject sends a request or communicates through that channel.
- Artificial intelligence provider, which processes the text of questions to the assistant to draft the answer, on behalf of TevDev and without using it to train its models.
- Authorities, when required by law.
Infrastructure and email providers and the blog platform process data on TevDev's behalf and according to its instructions. Google, Transbank, Global66 and WhatsApp also apply their own policies to the services they provide. TevDev does not sell personal data.
9. International transfers
Some providers process data outside Chile, mainly in the United States. In those cases, TevDev relies on the safeguards they offer, such as standard contractual clauses and, in Google's case, the Data Privacy Framework.
10. Retention periods
- Billing and tax documents: 7 years, a period that covers the one required by tax regulations.
- Project and contract data: for the term of the contract.
- Quote requests that do not lead to a contract: as long as needed to respond to and follow up on the request, or less if the data subject asks for its deletion.
- Newsletter: until the subscription is cancelled.
- IP addresses used to limit abuse: only during the control period, of up to 15 minutes.
- Conversations with the assistant: 30 days, together with the identifier derived from the IP address.
- Cookies: as set out in the Cookie Policy.
Once these periods expire, the data is deleted or anonymized, unless a legal obligation requires it to be kept longer.
11. Data subject rights
Data subjects may exercise the rights of access, rectification, cancellation or erasure and objection, and withdraw any consent given at any time, free of charge. EEA visitors also have the rights to data portability and to restriction of processing recognized by the GDPR.
Requests must be sent to contacto@tevdev.cl, stating the right being exercised and the details that identify the data subject. TevDev may request additional information to verify identity. Requests are answered within a maximum of 5 business days and resolved within 30 calendar days.
Consent to statistics and metrics is withdrawn from “Cookie preferences”, and the newsletter subscription, from the unsubscribe link included in every mailing.
12. Automated decisions
TevDev does not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects on the data subject or similarly significantly affect them. Statistics are used in aggregate form and no profiles are built for advertising purposes. The site assistant answers automatically with the published information; its answers are for guidance only and are neither an offer nor a decision about the data subject.
13. Minors
The site and the services are not directed at minors. TevDev does not knowingly collect data from children under 14, and its services are aimed at people over 18 and at businesses. If it detects data from a minor obtained without the corresponding authorization, it deletes it. Parents or guardians can write to contacto@tevdev.cl.
14. Information security
TevDev applies technical and organizational measures to protect data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration or disclosure:
- Encryption in transit on every connection to the site.
- Access to systems limited to the authorized team, with authentication and activity logs.
- Encrypted backups.
- Files attached to requests stored on TevDev's servers, without public links and accessible only to the authorized team.
- Usage limits on forms to prevent abuse.
No system is infallible, but the level of protection matches the nature of the data.
15. Security incidents
TevDev has procedures to detect and manage incidents affecting personal data. If a breach poses a significant risk to the rights of data subjects, it takes containment and remediation measures, notifies those affected through the available contact channels, describing the nature of the incident and the applicable recommendations, and meets the notification duties to the authority set by the regulations.
16. Complaints
Questions and complaints about data processing can first be sent to contacto@tevdev.cl. In addition, data subjects may:
- Bring the habeas data action under Law No. 19,628 before the courts.
- Turn to the Personal Data Protection Agency once Law No. 21,719 is in force (December 1, 2026).
- In consumer matters, go to the National Consumer Service (SERNAC).
17. Changes to this policy
TevDev may update this policy for legal, technical or operational reasons, in particular when Law No. 21,719 enters into force. Each version shows its update date at the top, and relevant changes are announced on the site or through the available contact channels.
For questions, complaints or problems, you can write to contacto@tevdev.cl.
